The Benson Lake property, located on northern Vancouver Island and west of Port McNeill, was the former site of Consolidated Mining’s Benson Lake Mine, an underground mine that capitalized on the “Old Sport Horizon”. The Benson lake area has been active in mineral exploration since 1911.
